Family Resource Center provides child psychiatry services in Allen, Auglaize, & Hardin counties to youth who are experiencing issues related to mood, behavior, cognition, and perception. Psychiatry services are provided both in-person and also via telemedicine. Hundreds of youth are seen each year locally in our three-county area.


Family Resource Center offers telepsychiatry services to youth. Telepsychiatry is the innovative application of telemedicine to the specialty field of psychiatry via video-based equipment. So far this year, Family Resource Center has seen 386 youth via telepsychiatry.


Dr. Wei has been with Family Resource Center since 2000. Dr. Wei attended medical college at The Medical College of Virginia where he also completed his psychiatry residency and fellowship. Dr. Wei previously worked locally at St. Rita’s Medical Center and also in private practice. Dr. Wei enjoys spending time with his family, playing racquet sports, music and chess. When asked what he likes about working with youth and their families, Dr. Wei said, “The opportunity to help children and families reach their potential in communication, harmony, and happiness.”
