Support Groups Here to Help
SOLACE is a group to help support youth between the ages 12-17 who have lost someone to suicide, an overdose, or natural causes. SOLACE is free of charge and open to the public. They meet on Mondays from 5:00pm-6:00pm at the SAFY Youth Drop-In Center, 658 W Market St., Suite 112, Lima.
GRASSP (Grief, Resiliency, and Surviving Suicide’s Pain) is a support group for adults who have lost a friend or family member to suicide. This support group is run by trained facilitators and is free of charge and open to the public. There is a GRASSP group in all three of our counties.

Meet Michelle Claypool
Michelle Claypool graduated from Ohio State University with a Master’s in Social Work and is an Independently Licensed Social Worker. She is also a Certified Trauma Practitioner and a Certified Group Facilitator. Michelle is the Assistant Treatment Director of SAFY Lima Behavioral Health, which includes program management of the SAFY Youth Drop-In Center. She has been providing psychotherapy services to clients for 5 years and has been a supervisor for 2 years. Michelle is passionate about providing services to adolescents and teens in our community through SAFY and the Youth Drop-In Center.
Meet Jim Zink
Jim Zink is a graduate of Bath High School and The Ohio State University with a degree in secondary comprehensive Social Studies. He is a retired teacher who taught at Lima City Schools, Bath, and Bluffton Schools. Jim and his wife Debra live outside of Columbus Grove and enjoy the outdoors, shuffleboard, and reading. Jim has served as a facilitator for our GRASSP (Grief, Resiliency, and Surviving Suicide’s Pain) groups for the past five years. He has had a longtime interest in mental health and is an active member of the Allen County Suicide Coalition.
