Allen County Juvenile Court Liaison

The Juvenile Court Liaison position is through the Family Resouce Center. This role collaborates with the Allen County Juvenile Court to provide an interdisciplinary team approach with mutual clients, as well as potential new clients.

The Liaison provides resources and referrals for youth within the juvenile system but also works within the Court Assessment Services Team to assist with preventing youth from entering the juvenile court system. This is a fantastic opportunity for youth who seem to be going down the wrong path. The team can assess the needs of the child and family to connect them to appropriate resources.

Additionally, the Liaison provides Domestic Violence CAST meetings for youth arrested and placed in the Allen County Juvenile Detention Center for a misdemeanor domestic violence charge.
