The HOPEline is a crisis, information, and referral line operated by Coleman Professional Services 24/7. If you or a loved one are in crisis, you can call the HOPEline at 800-567-HOPE and speak with a trained professional who will help you and direct you to immediate services. If you are with someone who is in a crisis and are unsure what to do, call the HOPEline and place them on speakerphone. They can talk with you both and walk you through seeking help. The HOPEline also offers information and referral services if you need resources and are unsure where to go.
Adam Wright began working at Coleman in March of 2014. He started his time with Coleman as a Mental Health Tech at the Crisis Stabilization Unit while interning in college. Adam graduated from Rhodes State College with an Associate’s Degree in Human Services. He moved into a HOPEline Specialist position in 2015. Adam said, “Individuals that call the HOPEline know they are going to talk to a caring person that will try to help with their situation. It’s nice to be able to offer support to individuals who don’t have anyone else to talk to at that moment. I never knew what kind of conversations I would be having whether it be someone that is looking for resources, someone in crisis, or just a friendly voice to talk to.”
