Supportive Housing Helps Recovery
Coleman Professional Services offers supportive housing for those who receive mental health and substance use treatment. Permanent supportive housing combines affordable housing with services designed to help residents in their recovery and quality of life. Residential Peer Mentors work with clients in supportive housing to educate tenants about healthy living and provide groups focused on wellness, nutrition, safety, and cleaning.
Coleman Staff Member with Supportive Housing
Angela Mueller started with Coleman Professional Services as a Residential Peer Mentor in 2017. They hired her under a State grant in the supportive housing programs.
After the grant ended, Coleman hired Angela due to her dedication to clients and ability to provide a valuable service. She works with residents on meal preparation, budgeting, and menu planning along with the day-to-day tasks at all supportive housing locations. She assists residents with finding healthy activities to replace unhealthy behaviors and addictions.
Angela shows genuine compassion for those she helps and the clients love to see her car pulling up. She has worked hard to commit to her craft, earning her Peer Recovery Certification through the Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services. We are proud of her accomplishments!
