New Program in Hardin County –Intensive Home-Based Services
Coleman Professional Services began providing Intensive Home-Based Services for families and children in Hardin County in May. These intensive home-based services include a 12-week curriculum-based program in which a therapist and a case management team, provide evidence-based interventions to strengthen the family system together in the home. This program is designed for all family members to participate in a minimum of 3 hours of services each week. Families who would benefit from this program have children under 18 or still in school that are having significant issues such as safety concerns, educational concerns, legal issues, or who are at risk of being displaced from the home. Since May, this program has served 40 children from 27 different families in Hardin County.
Meet Angie Howard
Angie Howard is a Licensed Social Worker at Coleman Professional Services. Angie is the Intensive Home-Based Therapist for families and children in Hardin County. Angie has been in the behavioral health field for many years with both Lutheran Social Services and also Coleman Professional Services. Angie worked in a variety of roles including medical records. Angie went back to school and obtained her social work license so that she could provide direct service to families in need.
Meet Kaytie McGue
Kaytie McGue is a youth case manager at Coleman Professional Services. Kaytie works on the Intensive Home-based Services team in Hardin County. She works in collaboration with the Intensive Home-Based Therapist, to provide mental health and substance use interventions in the homes of children and families in need to strengthen and stabilize the family.
