Joy is intentional. It is something you create. It is something deliberate you do. It is an action. It is a commitment. Having a mental screensaver always at the ready gives you some relief from the hum drum of the day-to-day. Your mental screensaver is an image you create infused with a feeling of joy and peace. Are you ready for another mental screensaver? Now recall a time with friends when you felt loved, included, embraced, honored, and admired. Recall the details. Who was there? Where were you? Recall the scene in as much detail of sight, sound, and smell as you can. OK. Now hit "save.” Add that to the first one you named “"Family. Now name this one "Friends.” Whenever you feel a bit off center or out of sorts, bring one of your mental screensavers to mind. Relax!
