We All Need a Little Help from Our Friends - Support Groups at PVFF

Mental Health and Recovery Services Board has provided funds to the Partnership for Violence Free Families (PVFF) to offer a number of support groups. Sometimes life bumps us around and in those moments we need a hand from people who have been there and can help guide us. PVFF is a certified prevention agency in our community that has trained facilitators who oversee and guide a number of groups. Here are a few of them:

  • · Have you experienced a divorce?

  • · Have you lost a loved one?

  • · Has someone you love committed suicide?

  • · Are you grandparents raising your grandchildren?

  • · Are you living with bipolar disorder?

  • · Are you LGBT?

Our goal is to help you to find peace, joy, and happiness again. These groups are a great way to get together with other people who have walked in your shoes or are walking in your shoes. Check out our website: www.wecarepeople.org to find out more details about these groups in our communities. And don’t forget to vote FOR mental health and recovery services on May 6th
