The Hardin Hope Coalition is a community driven group that meets monthly to address substance use and overdose through collaboration, education and advocacy. Guided by a shared mission, members work together to build a strong network of partners committed to supporting individuals and families while increasing awareness of the risks of substance use. The coalition focuses on connecting the community to prevention and treatment resources, fostering open dialogue, and promoting strategies that create a safer, healthier environment for all.
Hardin County Overdose Awareness Event
The Hardin Hope Coalition recently came together with community partners for an Overdose Awareness Event focused on education, connection, and remembering those impacted by substance use and overdose.
The event brought together 16 local organizations, along with a food truck, to provide community members with information, resources, and support. Attendees were able to connect with local organizations, enjoy free food provided by the Hardin Hope Coalition, and receive overdose awareness materials, Narcan, and fentanyl test strips.
We are grateful to all of the organizations, volunteers, and community members who helped make the event possible and continue working together to support a healthier and safer Hardin County community.
